SOURCE: headlight low beam

Test to see if you have voltage at the bulb connector in low beam position. I'd almost bet that if there is no voltage there for the low beams that you have a bad high/low switch.

It is most likely another faulty bulb in the turn signal circuit.
Ensure the indicator bulbs are replaced with the correct (specified) wattage rating.
Check you haven't dislodged or otherwise lost the ground connection to the rear tail light bulb sockets.

1995 Mercedes e 320 driver side headlight stopped working. Bulb is good

Solution: If both headlights aren't working, it's unlikely that a bulb is at fault. The likely cause is a fuse, headlight relay, headlight switch, dimmer switch or a wiring fault. ... Consult your owner's manual to locate the main fuse for the headlight circuit and replace that fuse with one having the same amp rating.
OR
Most total headlight failures are caused by a bad component like a fuse, relay, or module. Wiring problems can also cause both headlights to stop working. High beam headlights don't work or low beams don't work. The cause: A burned out bulb, or a problem with the high beam switch or relay.

Most total headlight failures are caused by a bad component like a fuse, relay, or module. Wiring problems can also cause both headlights to stop working. High beam headlights don't work or low beams don't work. If just one bulb fails to work in either high beam mode or low beam mode, it may be the bulb. Check your manual to find your headlamp relay.

Why doesnt headlight work on low beam left side?

Bulb may be no good as in headlight bulbs one filament can go leaving only either low beam or high beam operational on one headlight so change the bulb first on that side other than that could be power related

No power to right side (PS) headlight low beam plug socket, new bulb, fuse is good. High beam works, blinker works, park light works. just no low beam and doesn't register any voltage on volt meter.

check low beam fuse when switched on if it has voltage registering across the fuse ,if there is voltage across the low beam RHS fuse then it is possibly a pinched wire from the headlight running back towards inside of the car

The low beams stopped working but my high beams still do on my 1999 Mazda Protege.

  1. I own a Protege and once the low beam bulb burns on one headlight the car electronics quickly cook the bulb on the other headlight as well. it is a poor design by the mfr. Pull both bulbs to make sure the low beam is not cooked.

My headlights don't work, but the brights do. What caused this and how can I fix it?

Every headlamp has a bulb inside that has two filaments one for high beam and the other one for low beam, if any of those filament is cut then that beam (High or low) won't work. If your high beam work then your fuse it's ok, so you can visually inspect your headlights bulbs for broken filaments. remove bulb socket and remove the bulb carefully to inspect the filaments. if the filaments are atacched from one terminal to the other then the bulb it's ok, if not replace the bulb.

I have replaced both headlight bulbs(bulb number 9007), high beams work just fine, the low beam on the right side still does not work?

Hello butterisi: My name is Roger and I Will help you. I would look in the fuse box under the hood Specifically fuse 13. This is the fuse for the right low beam headlight. If ok I would suspect the multi function switch. Which is also the turn signal switch. Should you need further help please just ask. Please rate the answer. Thank You for using Fix Ya. Roger
