SOURCE: replacing fuel pump on 1995 oldsmobile aurora

The GM 1995 Aurora repair manual, says to use the access hole under the carpet in the back right corner of the trunk. You are best to buy a new fuel sender locking nut or ring at the dealer for about $8.

Forgot to add this - to relieve the fuel pressure, just use the press the center of valve on the fuel rail (for pressure testing) and a rag to catch the dribble. Really no big deal.

Make sure disconnect the battery cables too

SOURCE: crankshaft sensor location on 2001 oldsmobile

. Its above the starter going into the side of the block. (front side of the engine) Disconnect the battery. Remove the starter. Remove the wIre CONNECTOR plug to the sensor. The sensor has 1 bolt holding it in. Remove the bolt, you may have to wiggle the sensor at the base a bit as you pull it out. Replace, and make sure it is pushed in all of the way. Replace the bolt, wire plug, starter, reconnect the battery.

SOURCE: How many oxygen sensors are in my 95 oldsmobile

LOCATIONS There are different locations in the exhaust system where O2S sensors are positioned. The locations have been given numbers and will be used in the accompanying charts to identify the positions of O2S sensors in most vehicles. Due to mid-year production changes or factory inconsistencies, all models may not be covered. If a vehicle being serviced is not covered in the charts, inspect the exhaust system (while cold!) in the general locations to find the applicable O2S sensors. NOTE: If equipped with dual exhaust systems, there may be up to 4 or 5 O2S sensors in the exhaust system. Be sure to locate all of them before commencing with any testing or service. Have a 2001 v6 oldsmobile 3.5 that drives great, except on cold days when i start my car up at night sometimes the check engine light comes on and i scan it the code reads p340 any suggestions?

Have a repair shop diagnose the PO340
Cam Sensor Fault Code

Doesn't mean the sensor is bad

Find out why it reported to code

If the shop compares the cam sensors
to ignition timing on a V6 ,the events have
to occur at 120 degrees for each cylinder,
when viewed on an oscilloscope
