25 amp PWR OUTLET fuse , location - under hood fuse box. This fuse supply's power to the Accessory AC/DC power control module .
MSM 10amp fuse location instrument panel fuse box . This power's the object alarm module .
{: ) At the underhood fuseblock, the AUX PWR fuse 20amps is for the Instrument panel and center console outlets, while the RR APO fuse 20amps is for the rear console and rear power outlets.
If your vehicle is equipped with an accessory 110vac, there is this PWR OUTLET fuse 25amps also at the underhood fuseblock. See red arrows on the sample diagram below:
Safety reminders: Use only fuses of the same specifications. A higher fuse rating replacement can heat the wirings and could cause fire.
The fuses for the auxilliary power outlets are located in the rear fuse panel located under the left second row seat.
The fuse for the console and two front outlets is fuse #46 (20 Amp) and is marked "AUX PWR 1"
The fuse for the rear power outlet is fuse #15 (20 Amp) and is marked "AUX PWR 2"
The OBDII connector receives its power from the AUX PWR 2 fuse (#15) located in the fuse panel under the rear seat. This fuse also controls the accessory power plugs on the dash.
Check the fuse box. There should be something that tells what amp fuse #22 is. You may have a spare fuse in the box. Worse case scenario, pull a fuse of the same power from something that you don't need and use it til you get the key out. If the fuse keeps giving problems that indicates you need to get something checked out. DO NOT put in a larger amp fuse to get by. Fuses are there for a reason. It is not worth burning a Trailblazer up because of a $3.00 fuse.
Replace the Aux Pwr fuse. On the 2008 Equinox, this fuse is in the fuse block under the hood. It is fuse number 3, 20A (yellow), located on the left side as you're looking it, in the slot immediately forward of the fuse puller tool. Way too late for Kevin256, but I just did this on my daughter's '08 Equinox and it fixed the problem.
