Need vacuum line dirgram for 1995 toyota camry LE intake manifold

• Replacing or repairing the ignition coil(s)

I am chasing this problem also in my 94 Camry. I am investigating

- vacuum leak somewhere in the intake manifolding or hose
- EGR valve malfunction
- IAC valve malfunction
- deteriorated spark plug leads
- head gasket leak
- fuel pressure low from pump
- malfunctioning fuel pressure return or relief valve

If you don't have the one that's inside the engine compartment or can't read it, try calling around a few wrecking yards. If they have the car you can go there take a picture of the one that's on it and figure out your from that. Failing that your local library carries many auto repair book, Chilton s, Haynes. etc. look it up there for free.

Hi Dave; Hey I'm sorry but I don't have any better nowadays a vacumn line diagram than the next person(as a natter of fact less cause I'm poor at operating computor) The Camry originally came with a vacumn line diagram on the hood. You should be able to find it online otherwise find one someone will let you look at or even go to the boneyard(old fashion way)and find the same 4 cylinder Camry that has a hood & sticker on it-Good Luck;John T

Either there is insufficient fuel reaching the injectors, or there is a vacuum leak around the intake manifold.

Check the big flexible hose between the air cleaner and the throttle body for splits or cracks. If there are none, then suspect a failed fuel pump or fuel pressure regulator. You will need to check fuel pressure at the fuel rail, just after the fuel filter. You can get gauges for this

Just seeing fuel is not enough, it has to be up to the specified pressure with EFI engines, 31-37 psi at idle. It should also maintain this pressure for a few minutes after stopping the engine.

There is a variety of causes possible:

- spark plugs fouled or worn (likely after about 50000 km)
- low fuel pressure (maybe)
- ignition timing not correct (an ECU problem, is there any check engine light?)
- air leak into the intake manifold (the most likely)

These engines develop a split in the big hose from the air cleaner to the air flow body. Look for that first.

Booster line will attach to back side (firewall side ) of booster chamber.

Should find a metal elbow coming out of the booster chamber that the vacuum line will slip over.

When you look at the booster chamber from the front, the location of the line should be at approx. 9 o'clock (as if looking at a clock dial)

left side of engine compartment next to the air cleaner (between air filter box and firewall) bolted to inner fender

i have came across simler problems in the past so im going to give you a list of four main suspects number 1; a broken or pereshed vacuum hose at the trottle body or inlet manifold.2 a blocked injector 3 a fuel injection system fault 4 a disconnected /leaking or perished crankcase ventilation hose.Before you try any of these by a can of fuel cleaner and run it through your system remember a small piece of dirt half the size of grain of salt is enough to cause this problem good luck.adrian
