It's faulty leveler but if you're gonna drop the tank to replace the leveler I recommend just to replace the entire pump
Well you could replace the sending unit inside the gas tank an see if that fixes the problem or you could replace the fuel gauge in the instrument cluster an see if that fixes the problem . Or you could have it check at a repair shop that has a professional type scan tool that can check the sending unit input to the PCM - engine computer , an check input to the instrument cluster from the PCM . That is a whole lot easier then replace parts to find out it did not fix the problem . Without the proper tools your limited as what you can do . The warning means the computer does not "see" the right signal from the key. Your key has a chip that prevents a thief from stealing the truck with an ordinary key or by bypassing the lock.
If you have another key try it, if not check with the dealer or a locksmith.
