You did not state the symptoms you're getting(problems) . The lean codes are usually caused by either a bad vacuum leak or the Coils going bad, causing a miss.

CHECK ENG LIGHT ON P0171,P0174,P1000,O2195.P2197 WHAT OR THESE CODES AND HOW CAN I FIX.

PO171 & PO174 are codes for fuel too lean. So is the clattering valves when you step on it. Sounds like you got some bad gas. Try filling up with a high octane gas and add a gas treatment for Ethanol which will help get some water out of the system. Good Luck

WHAT CAN I DO TO FIX MY AUTO HAVE CODES P0171 P0174 01000 P2195 P2197 WHAT ARE THE CODES.

P0171 & P0174 are lean codes.this can be cause by a vacuum leak. One of the symptoms is a ruff idle when cold.

You can listen for it or you can have it smoke checked by a shop. Most common causes are intake plenum gaskets and rotted PVC hoses.

My car did that once and I didn't have my gas cap on tight. Not the same model but worth trying.

Got code P2195, P2197, P0171, P0174??

  • There are some clips on the back of the engine by the manifold that break real easy. In fact there is a TSB about them. These clips hold the IMRC linkage rods to the runner shafts. When they break the linkage will just hang there.
  • See diagram

  • These are a dealer only item. Replace them and this should fix your problem.
  • Hope this helps and thank you for using FixYa.

2004 mercury montery sputters when in idle , went to autozone got codes p2197,p2195,p0171,and p0174 have changed fuel filter and still continues.

Most likely a vacuum leak effecting the O2 Sensors

That is your 4 codes.

Have the Evap System checked also, for leaks

Fuel Filter--filters fuel,doesn't fix anything

I have trouble codes p0430, p0301,p0316, p2195 and p2197. thecar is a 2004 lincoln ls 3.0 v6 with 116000 miles. can anyone help me solve my problem?

PO-430 Catalyst System Efficiency Below Threshold (Bank 2)
PO-0301 Should be a misfire on COP Coil #1
PO-316 Misfire Occured in the First 1000 Engine Revolutions
P-2195 Lack of HO2-11 Switch/Lean
P2197 Lack of HO2-21

I have the same vehicle,only a V8
What you have is a very common ford problem. The Ignition Coil on Cylinder #1 is Bad. You can buy it at the local auto part store and change yourself. About $59.00. You remove the coil cover on top of the valve covers, then the coil. I did one in Feb and believe all you need is a 7mm wrench and 7mm socket. #1 should be at the front of engine/pass side.

The other codes are related and you can see if any are there, after you do the coil replacement. If so give them to me.

The 2 front 02 sensors are located on the front of
the exhaust manifold.
Should solve problem and increase gas mileage.
