1999 Isuzu Trooper. How to fix brake light problems?

Question edited for clarity. Wrong type of break / brake.
Question moved to model category.

Check the brake switch with a meter first. Then check headlight relays and fuses.

I am trying to find my dip tick on a 2000 Izusu trooper 3.5 I have look under the hood of my Izusu trooper, near the oil dip stick, on the other side of the engine, towards the back passages side toward...

what kind of dip stick??? Transmission. No dip stick as tranny is a sealed system. U cannot add any fluid or check levels. U need a special machine to pump it in. Well....actually I jimmy rigged a hand pump to refill mine after I acidentally drained it thinking I had found the oil pan! Believe it or not I am not the only one who has pulled off that ******** move.

How do I replace a driver side headlight assembly on a 2000 Isuzo Trooper

Ha. Good luck:-
Take the sidelight out, and remove the radiator grill. Remove the trim under the headlamp-2 nuts. The remaining 2 bolt are abve and below the headlamp, then the whole thing slides to the centre and pops out.
It will take a couple of hours!

Need a new Transmission assy.

GT4x4 are probably your best bet, or alternatively breakerlink or breakeryard (google for them)

1999 Mazda Miata Headlight Failure

Notice how your headlights are protected under the hood by a suspiciously large rubber cover? Miatas hate humidity and condensation, from head to toe, including the headlights. I lost a headlight, was pulled over by a state trooper who told me to change it, and tested the brights all in one night. Of course, the brights worked, because they are actuated from a different circuit on the wiring harness that connects to the headlight through that massive rubber seal. If any amount of humidity or condensation has occurred, especially during a weather change, I cannot stress that enough, the first thing to fail is the normal headlight setting. I was already going to switch over to high-intensity bulbs, so I had a good excuse to crack open the headlight assembly (otherwise I wouldn't dare--Miata headlights are nearly impossible to change with a large pair of hands). I separated the old bulbs from their wires and proceeded to clean the connectors of the wires with an approved electrical connection cleaning solution (go to AutoZone). I then applied the conducting gel to the bulb to avoid corrosion and secure against future problems with condensation and was good to go. Make sure to give yourself many many hours to decipher the bulb assembly, as it was designed by someone whose sole intent is to make the job 150 times more difficult. Otherwise, cleaning the wiring assembly is a cinch.
