The Headlamps On at Exit and Perimeter Lighting modes can be adjusted using the steering wheel controls to select the wanted function as displayed in the driver information center. The Headlamps On at Exit selection will allow the driver to customize the period of time that the headlamps remain illuminated upon exiting the vehicle. This period can be adjusted from 0 seconds to 180 seconds. The Perimeter Lighting feature allows the driver to select if they want the headlamps and backup lamps to illuminate when the door UNLOCK button on the key fob is activated. There is no "secret" way. You will need to try and have a locksmith open the door for you.

Air filter location on 2008 trailblazer

For the I6 engine air filter (not cabin filter).....it's right in the front of the engine compartment. Looking at the engine, it's on your left hand side right behind the headlight. Big black box with a large hose toing up and to the right hooked to it. This has 2-3 screws, if I remember right, one at the top, one on the side, and one on bottom

Oilfilter

You didn't post the size of motor but once you drop the skid plate, you will see it.

The oil filter is under the engine skid plate. You need to remove the trap door to see.
The skid plate door is located by the drivers side door, directly midway underneath the vehicle. You will need a flat or Phillips-hear srewdriver to open the trap door. Don't worry, the screws are 'loss-proof' and will not fall off the trap door plate. Once this has been removed, the oil drain plug and oil filter are now visible and accessable (how smart is that!) Typical oil change and oil filter replacement time = 15-20 mins. for a familiar shadetree. p.s. The Inline 6 (24 valve - 4.2L) takes 7 quarts of oil. Good luck!
