SOURCE: change spark plug wires on 04 kia sedona

REMOVAL OF THE PLUGS:

Do not attempt any maintenance on spark plug if engine is hot.
1. Disconnect negative battery terminal.
2. Carefully remove high-tension leads.
3. Use compressed air to blow any dirt or debris from around spark plug hole.
4. Check that spark plug fits squarely in spark plug socket and remove spark plug.

Raise a vehicle and install SST(OK552 131 001) in order to replace cylinder 2, 4, 6 spark plug.

INSTALLATION:

1. Install spark plug into cylinder head.

Tightening torque : 18~22lb-ft (25~30N·m, 2.5~3.0kg-m)

2. Reconnect high-tension leads.
3. Reconnect negative battery cable.

Hope this helps and simple to understand. Good luck

SOURCE: My 04 Kia Sedona cranks but doesn't start up?

Changing the crank sensor is a guess.
It may be the problem, but throwing parts at it can be expensive.
First, verify if you have spark and/or fuel, then go from there.

Your spark plug wires go to coils, coils sit on top of ignition module. You have two crank sensors, if crank sensor issue, check the 7x crank sensor, on back side of engine block, down low, two wire connector, wire colors, yellow and purple.

How do i replace crank sensor on 2000 olds alero 3.4 and where is it located

It depends on which crank sensor you are wanting to replace. There are two of them. The 24X sensor is located behind the front crankshaft pully and the crank pully must be removed to change it. The 7X sensor is located in the engine block on the right bank (firewall side) near the rear of the engine. This one simply pulls out of the block after disconnecting the electrical connector and removing the single bolt that holds it.

1995 Grand Jeep Cherokee has no spark, turns over but wont start. I just changed the fuel pump. Jeep just quit on me driving home from work.

4.0?

Sounds like a bad crank sensor. Look in between the engine and the firewall on the drivers side near the intake plenum. You should see a round connector with three black wires fused together coming out of one end. Follow those wires to the top of the bell housing on top of the transmission. the crank sensor will be there. A ten mm socket/wrench will be needed to remove and install.

Where do I locate an oil sensor for 04 pt cruiser

Hi,
Beneath the exhaust manifold on the backside of the engine compartment to the right and slightly above the oil filter. you must reach it from beneath the engine by putting your hand up between the CV joint and the frame. it is a pain in the rear to remove because the electrical clip is hard to separate from the sensor. on some models, a special deep socket is needed to unscrew the sensor from the engine block.
Hope this helps... Good luck!
