How to set the bearing cap torque toyota tercel 92

I need engine model designation, these are mostly letters. My database shows a 1.5L, doesn't show 1.4L.

(1) Apply a light coat of engine oil to the threads and under the heads of the cylinder head set bolts.
(2) Using several steps, uniformly install and tighten the 10 cylinder head set bolts and plate washers with a 10 mm bi-hexagon wrench in the order shown in the illustration. Torque:
70 N·m {714 kgf·cm, 52ft·lbf} (c) Mark the front of the cylinder head bolts with paint.

(d) Further tighten the cylinder head bolts 90° as shown in the illustration.
(e) Check that the paint mark is now at a 90° angle to the front. cam bearing caps; Using several steps, uniformly tighten the 10 bearing cap bolts in the sequence shown in the illustration.

Torque:
No. 2 Bearing cap -
30 N·m {301 kgf·cm, 22ft·lbf}
No. 3 Bearing cap -
9.0 N·m {92 kgf·cm, 80in·lbf}

29 pounds on rod bearing
42 pounds on main bearings

Torque settings for V-6 engine.
Main bearing cap bolts torque:
Torque: 27 N·m (275 kgf·cm, 20 ft·lbf)
Mark the front of the main bearing cap bolt with paint.
Re tighten the main bearing cap bolts by 90 degrees.
Check that the crankshaft turns smoothly.

Connecting rod cap bolts torque:
Torque: 24.5 N·m (250 kgf·cm, 18 ft·lbf)
Mark the front of the main bearing cap bolt with paint.
Re tighten the main bearing cap bolts by 90 degrees.
Check that the crankshaft turns smoothly.

Cylinder Head Bolts

Step 1 22 ftlb (30 nm)
Step 2 36 ftlb (49 nm)
Step 3 Turn Additional 90°

Hello vienotkelly: The correct Main bolt torque is 42 foot pounds. The connecting rods torque to 29 foot pounds. The torque sequence for the head bolts and the correct way to tighten the bolts are attached to this reply. Thak You for using FixYa. Roger

Head Bolts Step 1-33 Ft. Lbs. Step 2- Additional 90 Degrees
Rod Bearing Nuts-29 Ft. Lbs.

Remove the valve cover and check to see if you have a rocker stud or cam bearing cap that has either broken or worked itself loose.
