1. Open the liftgate.
2. Remove the two screws from the taillamp assembly.
3. Pull the taillamp assembly rearward until you
disengage the inner pins on the taillamp
assembly from the vehicle.
4. Press the release tab, if bulb socket has one,
and turn the bulb socket counterclockwise to
remove it from the taillamp assembly.
5. Pull the old bulb straight out from the bulb
socket.
6. Press a new bulb into the bulb socket and
insert it into the taillamp assembly. Turn the
bulb socket clockwise into the taillamp
assembly until it clicks.
7. Reinstall the taillamp assembly. When
reinstalling, make sure to line up the pins on
the taillamp assembly with the vehicle. If
you do not do this, you will not be able
correctly install the taillamp assembly.

There is no fuse for left or right. If it's not working it's more than likely a blown bulb.

How do i change the tail light on a 2004 tahoe

Open rear hatch. Remove two mounting screws at the side corner which mount the tail light assy to the body. The whole tail light assy can now be removed. Twist desired bulb holder counterclock wise to remove, then pull bulb to remove. Reinstall in reverse order.

1998 tahoe brake lights don't work replaced switch still dont work touch and go

There is a clip that gets worn on the brake pedal that holds the switch tight to one side. It must be put on correctly or else the brake lights will come on for a split second and then go out when you push the brake pedal down further.

Cant get the tail light lense off my 07 tahoe.

Put a rag between the bottom of the tail light and the bumper so you dont scratch your paint. Remove the two screws that are visable and then grab the other side and pull straight out towards you (sometimes a slight **** is required). There are 2 body plugs that are holding it in on the side. The angle makes a difference, and be careful not to scratch the lens or bumper.
