Limp home feature be disabled ????? It's not a feature as you put it . Vehicle has a problem , have the DTC'S check have the problem fixed , then it won't be in limp home mode , Probably something wrong with the transmission

I don't show a dist cap available for a 3.4 V6 - so it is probably DIS.
The plug wires would go directly to a set of coils.

grab hold of the upper radiator hose, and follow it back to the engine block. The housing the hose is attatched is where the thermostat is hiding :)
