You are probably looking at about an hour per side. Brakes and backing plate must be removed. then the mounting bolts for the axle itself must be removed. this operation should be performed one side at a time in order to save the fluid inside the differential casing. It will become imperative that both oil seals are changed with the bearings. P.S. depending on the graciousness of the engineers, you may not have to remove the backing plates. Thank you, Dana

by look of the size of the vehicle
and the rear bearing shows up as a solid

if into a lower control arm
a special tool to press out the solid bearing with control arm on the vehicle
or
rear stub axle off the vehicle and press out the old bearing
press in the new

Replace rear wheel bearing on Tribute 2005..FWD

Jack up the car and place on stands remove wheels ,remove pin and nut ,remove the brake caliper,slide hub off ,remove old cup,s with a hammer and pin punch and fit new cups pack bearings with grease fit to hub,fit new seal.

with the short description you gave, If I was to take a guess I would say you have a wheel bearing noise. Mazdas are very common for this problem.

Could be ball joints loose...jack up wheel and check for play
Could be bad hubs...the metal part of the tire wheel...i had this problem once..check for obvious damage like a dent or cut in metal
Could be caliper sticking
Could be mud in and around the wheels
