SOURCE: 2005 Nissan Murano - wiper arm

Check the nut, that holds the wiper arm on. It may be loose. Tighten nut and recheck. Let me know what you find.

SOURCE: How to change wiper blades on 2007 Nissan Altima

Most wiper blades are replaced the same way as on this video. I have a 2006 Altima and it is.

Make sure you have the correct size wipers. You have 2 different sizes (lengths) so use the manual where you buy them and get the right ones.

Thanks for using Fixya.

SOURCE: How do I access the windshield wiper assembly?

You have to remove the wiper arms by prying off the black platic piece over the nut. Remove the nut and the wiper arms. There should be 5 places on the black plastic piece that runs the length of the windshield. Remove 4 of them by prying them out. The one is the middle is a screw. Pull away the plastic piece and you should have access to the mechanism below. I think you need to replace the linkage if it has fallen off.

Replaced engine fuse box (with ipdm )on 2003 Nissan Altima SL and now the wipers will not turn off even with switch removed

With IPDM - intelligent power distribution module . Pull the front wiper relay and front wiper hi relay , see if they reset . If that doesn't work you'll need to take it to the dealer an have them reset with factory scan tool . Also ,sometimes new modules need to be programmed . THE AUTO DOOR LOCK AND POWER WINDOW DO NOT WORK AND I CANT FIND THE FUSE FOR THEM ON 2005 NISSAN ALTIMA

From the service manual, which is available relatively inexpensive at Promanuals.net here

Both front wiper relays are located in the IPDM E/R (intelligent power distribution module engine room)
Wiper switch (combination switch) is composed of a combination of 5 output terminals and 5 input terminals.
Terminal combination status is read by BCM (body control module)
BCM controls front wiper LO, HI, and INT (intermittent) operation
IPDM E/R operates the wiper motor according to CAN communication signals from the BCM.
Power is supplied at all times
through 50A fusible link (letter f , located in the fuse and fusible link box)
 to BCM terminal 70, and
through 20A fuse (No. 39, located in the IPDM E/R)
to front wiper relay, located in the IPDM E/R
With the ignition switch in ON or START position, power is supplied at all times
through 10A fuse [No. 1, located in the fuse block (J/B)]
