Your best ,to cut the old belt,to remove.

You can use a long handle 1/2" drive ratchet, on the belt tensioner.

The only pic is in the shop manual.

Wear long sleeves and arm protector sleeves on top. the fan housing is sharp and a tight fit. You will be there a couple hours.

Draw a picture before you start, and you won't need a diagram

SOURCE: 2003 Lincoln LS V8, Won't turn over after errors

Forget the four coils. That is a common problem, but I would question 4 failing.
The ABS ,Parking Brake,Speedo Etc,where nothing to worry about, you were loosing power, when it went to fail safe,so they came up.

ETC -is Electronic Throttle Control, your problem? Maybe
You will need to have a scanner put on it's,daignostic connector under the dash,to check for codes. Them only a trained technician can follow a chart or test proceedure to properly repair.
I have a 2004 LS,one of Ford most high tech and complicated vehicles.
Conclusion: only a professional can repair you car.
I would start with a local shop. If money you have money to throw away,go to a dealer.
Most likely have to wave to it on a flat bed carrier. Don't flat tow it.

Will a 2000 lincoln ls rack and pinion fit on a 2004 lincoln ls? Does it matter if it's v6 or v8? I have a 2004 lincoln ls 3.9 liter v8 and need a rack and pinion. Somebody please HELP.

engine size is immaterial when it comes to steering
what matters is body length, mounting positions and methods, tie rod lengths , position of pinion , method f attaching steering shaft
best if you go to a wreckers and view both steering assemblies side by side to check any differences
or you can pull both out and interchange or you can go to a dealer spares and see if the boxes have the same part numbers
or you can ring a steering specialist shop and ask if there is any differences

Pcv 2004 lincoln ls v8 where

For the Lincoln LS V8, there is a flexable tube on the drivers side of the engine that runs from the valve cover/crankcase to the air intake tube. There isnt a PCV valve for this engine, it is just a tube for ventilation.

Whre's the location of Mass Airflow Sensor in a 2005 Lincoln LS, V8?

Located in the air intake tube drivers side of vehicle. In Line with air filter housing top. Most of the time mass air flow sensors get debris inside them from an unsecured air filter housing. Sometimes they are tough to clamp housing back correctly

On the top of the motor on both sides there are two round parts leaking small amout of oil on 2004 lincoln ls v8

Sounds like the cam position sensors sticking thru
the valve covers.

My 2004 v8 is doing that on the driver side a little.

Big job to remove valve covers for that,to replace a seal
Live with it & wipe off every couple of weeks

Where do i add transmission fluid in my 2004 lincoln ls v8?

There is no need to add, unless it leaks

The way it is filled, is through a 3/8" pipe plug on to tail housing
or blowing it into the center of the trans pans drain plug, after
removing the center 1/8" pipe plug and using an adaptor going to
your pressurized container.

With the car at 180 degrees or more and level, remove the center
pipe plug and the fluid should just run out.

The drain plug it's self ,serves as the level indicator,it has a tube
extending upward ,that establishes the correct level.

Replace coils on 2004 Lincoln 4.6L V8

You don't have a 4.6 V8 on an L/S. That is a truck motor

You have a 3.9 V8

You remove the covers, on top off the valve covers with a 7mm socket,as well as the coil with 7mm.

How do i replace the brake lights on a 2002 lincoln ls v8

Sir,
First, open the trunk. You will then need to peel back the felt liner enough to access the three nuts you will need to remove. Two of them are easy enough to see, the third is accessed through a hole......you will need an extension on your ratchet to get to it. Take great care with the 3rd one as it is easy to drop and will be difficult to retrieve it if you do. Once these three nuts are removed, take a hammer or mallet and gently tap the bolts that you removed the nuts from. Tap it toward the rear of the vehicle.......the entire light housing will easily be removed from the rear of the vehicle. Find the light you need to replace and turn the housing 1/4 turn - pull it out and you will see the bulb. Pull out the faulty bulb and replace it with your new one. Pain in the ****, but easy enough if you know how to operate a ratchet.......total job time 15 mins.
