Helpful information.

By the way, It is VERY hard to remove the TOP bolt. I ended up removing the Battery and 2 Air hoses to be able to access it and then apply enough torque to get it out. A regular ratchet and a pipe aided in applying enough torque to move that bolt and then remove it. There is a diagram that shows the location of the top bolt (it is above the bottom bolt but located on the OPPOSITE side.
This diagram of the bolt placement will help, check this link:

2004 Scion xB instrument panel & blinkers not working?

That is a mess and points to nothing in particular, perhaps a communication issue with the BCM?

You need an auto electrician with a professional grade $5,000 scan tool computer with access to wiring data and the ability to read wiring diagrams.

Remote starter only allows my starter to turn over twice; needs at least 3 with my key. How to adjust to have it starter run longer on remote?

I know you are looking to have the remote starter run a third time but I would say you need to look at your Fuel Pressure Regulator on the Scion. Sounds like it is not holding fuel pressure at the fuel rail and that is why it requires a third Crank

My scion xb 2004 doesn't start!

it could be a billion things...might have to specify that is it doing...
if it doesn't start but cranks...then check the starter, battery, and the alternator...
it could also be the fuel pump isn't pumping fuel in to the engine...so you need to check that too...
Good Luck!

2004 scion xb bulb stuck

There is a black locking ring holding the bulb in. After disconnecting the electrical connector turn the lock ring approx. 45-90 degrees counter clockwise, remove the lock ring then pull out the bulb.

2004 Scion XB won't fire up!

What happened? Same thing happened to my chevy cavalier and it turned out to be the gasoline pump. It happened after 15 months again. Too bad its my wife's car, otherwise I would have gotten another Scion XB.
