Explain your issue, starting from the beginning.

honestly the crank sensor is the likely culprit. anything else and it should run, even if poorly.

Could be any of several things. If the crank sensor is marginal and not sending pulses, the fuel pump is shut off. This is for safety. The pump is energized for a few seconds as key is turned in preparation for starting then engine must rotate normally to keep the pump on. If it stops, in a few seconds the fuel is cut off.

do a compression test the timing belt might have jumped a tooth or two

Does it start and die after 1-2 seconds or just cranks and never fires? Did it run before you installed the computer or are you trying to cure a no start problem?
