Started my 2004 Ford Expedition and battery light came on. As I drove the light would flicker randomly and then go off. About a minute later the light came back on again. I did not turn the radio, wipers even lights in fear I would drain the battery completely. I made it to Sears and they tested the battery and said no issues with it. As I drove home there was less flicker of the battery light and it stayed lit. The battery gauge began to drop from half way(normal) to L slowly. Then my ABS light came on. The battery continued to drain as I lost all lights on my control panel and barely made it into the driveway. I turned off the engine. It never did completely stall. I tried to restart it moments later and the panel lights light up momentarily and it is dead now. PS had Sears check the fuse to battery too-checked out fine.

It could be your alternator ( generator ),,,,,have the electrical output checked, maybe just a slack wire

All the lights came on and the car just died

I assume that when you say all the lights came on ... refers to all the dashboard lights and NOT your headlight/tail lights? I found the following reference for a 2013 Ford Focus:
On my way home on the freeway, my oil & battery light started flickering on and off at the same time and as it did the car was stalling out. I put my 4-way flashers on, slowed down and moved to the right lane as a safety measure. After another few miles both lights came on and stayed on and the car shut down. I pulled over to the berm, waited a few minutes, tried starting, it started and drove home with no issues. I drove to work the next day with no issues. On the way home things started happening again, the car shut down, but this time after waiting a few minutes the car never started. I had it towed to the dealer and they found that a wiring harness was up against the throttle body and wore through the protective insulating tape, then the wires causing the problem.
Another cause might be that a relay in the fuse/relay box under the hood broke
Good luck in your troubleshooting
