Have whinning noise when turning right or slowing down sounds like a power steering noise in rear end

A whinning noise while turning is an indication of a worn bearing. The extra pressure put against the bearing/race during the turn and the closing of a gap creates this noise.I would chech the axle bearings on the side of the truck on the outside the curve when you hear it. What I'm saying is if you hear it when you turn left....check the right side bearing

Rear end is whinning in 96 chevy s-10 blazrer

Most likely your differential ring gear carrier bearings are worn and the alignment of the pinion gear to the ring gear is out of tolerance. If your truck is full time 4x4 from the factory there is also a good chance that the rear differential housing is also worn where one of the carrier bearings (left side most likely) is mounted. This is a fairly difficult repair to do at home due to the close tolerances that need to be measured to make sure the two gears mesh properly. If the differential housing is damaged then the entire rear axle should be replaced.

F150 2004 truck 4X4 the rear end has gear metal in the oil

Depending on how many miles are on it since the gear oil has been changed, some metal will be normal. If the differntial wasn't whinning or making noise i would drain it, remove the housing cover and thoroughly clean it. Then refill with fresh gear lube. I recommend using a synthetic.
Good luck, i hope this helps.

I have a loud humming / whinning noise coming from the rear end of the trailblazer. I have already replaced the outer wheel bearings along with the outer seals and gear oil. It's been a week since this has...

If the outer bearings can go bad, so can an inner bearing. A close visual inspection will usually reveal a bad bearing or you can feel it when you spin the bearing. You could check the gear grease in the rear end. Bearings in there can go bad.

It could possibly be your rear end/transfer-case/transmission/power steering. Where is the noise coming from and when does it mostly occur?

1994 chevrolet astro van makes noise in the rear end

If the rear end is whinning it is probably safe to say that it is already damaged and will need to be replaced to correct the problem but there is a fill on the passenger side near the yoke side. It fills level with the plug hole.
