Dash lights & door light will not go off, high beam will not lock on
For the dash lights and door light, there is probably a faulty door ajar switch, those are known to go bad. I believe this is part of the door latch. The only way for you to figure out which one is to pull the interior door trim off and disconnect the electrical connector on the latch. There should be only two wire connector which if jumped or opened gives ground or takes ground away from the module, turning on or off the lights. Start with the driver's door and move on to the next most often used door. To test the circuit to the gem will need an ohmmeter and a wiring diagram. If the circuit to gem is good, probably a bad GEM. For the high beam, replace the multifunction switch. That's the lever on the left of the steering wheel. Just remove the screws under the column shroud, remove the switch and replace. Those are known to go bad.
