where you can found it. replacing it can be done under hood, by removing brake booster hose and or by under the vehicle. disconnect first cable going to starter. then need to remove the two starter bolts and starter.

Hello Chet. It's possible that you could have a blown fuse. The power supply to the data connector is also on the same fuse as the cigarette lighter/power plug. The fuse is in the #13 slot in the underhood fuse panel. Hope this fixes you up!
