Testimonial: "Tyvm Jeff Armer, the reason that I know about the seat memory module doing this to my car, is because I had the car tested, and this is what they found. I am not a person who is car savvy, do you know of any videos that might be able to help me? or pictures? because the info you stated is all greek to me."

How do you change the driver name and memory for seat and mirror adjustment on a 1997 buick park avenue ultra

I am not sure about changing the name as my 2000 park ave. only indicates driver one or driver two. To reset the memory for seat/ mirror position is rather simple: with the ignition on and the car in park, adjust your seat and mirrors to the desired position. Then press and hold the desired button (driver one or two) until you hear a beep, This is the procedure that works on my 2000 park ave. I hope this helps you.

How do I reset the computer on a 2001 Buick Park Avenue Ultra?

Two ways:

Take the vehicle to AutoZone for a free analysis of the fault code.
Request a print-out and explanation (free). Afterwards, have them reset the system.
Let us know the fault code and a summary of the print-out.

You can aslo disconnect the negative battery cable for ten minutes, or so. It will reset the PCM. Be careful that you don't disconnect for much longer; the radio may set itself to "Theft" mode.

Need to find the module for the electric seat so I can move the seat back an fourth on the drivers side for my park avenue 1996 Can't find them at the dealers.

Have you check a salvage/junk yard.

You probably wont find a new one as GM stops alot of part support for vehicles after they are 10 years old.
