SOURCE: nissan altima 2002 burning excesive oil what to

You have to identify where the oil is leaking. Check the spark plugs if it has oil, you may just need to replace the oil seal in the plugs. If you meant actual burning from the exhaust, you may want to check the head gasket and the piston rings if the oil seeps into the combustion chamber.

SOURCE: Where is the fuel filter located on a 2005 Nissan

The fuel filter is located inside the fuel pump on a 2005 nissan altima. The fuel pump is under the back seat. You must remove the bottom cushion on the driver side. Before removing the fuel pump you must remove the negative battery cable and relieve fuel pressure. trouble with filters hesitation in starts could be some bogging and when acceleration poor fuel output but it depends on what ur car is doing?some of these same symptoms could be duel to idle air conrol valve controls idle and hesitation in acceleration

Where is the oil sending unit located on a 1999 nissan altima?

Not exactly sure about 1999 model but It's usually located next to the oil filter with a wire coming out of it or with in the oil drain area. It's about $12 to replace.
For vehicles with an indicator light, the sending unit is like a simple switch. When the engine is off, or the pressure is too low, the switch closes, and illuminates the lamp. Under pressure, the switch is open and the lamp goes out. The only difference in the above test, is with the wire disconnected, the light is out, and with the wire grounded, the light is on. I cant find the oil pump on a 2006 Nissan Altima

On both the four cylinder and six cylinder engines the oil pump runs off the crank shaft. The front cover and timing chain needs to removed in order to replace or repair the oil pump. It is not a very common repair. Is there a reason you are looking for it?

1999nissan altma blows black smoke

Drain the system of all oil, replace oil filter, and fuel filter for sure. Check air fliter, and spark plugs. Basic tune up and oil change. Does the oil look funny? Like texture wise, it might have water in it which is a really bad sign. please give more info if possible so i can give a better diagnoses.
