SOURCE: heated driver seat doesn't heat on 2003 ford explorer

I have a similar problem with a couple extras. I locked the keys in the truck and used my keyless entry pad on the door to unlock. When the lock (knob) popped up, I heard a noise. That's when the driver seat quit heating AND the lock button on the driver's side door will only unlock. It will not lock. The passenger side works fine. Could this be a fuse? Or electric?
Thank you!!

You should look into the fuse box, you would find the fuse label on the fuse cover, then you would know how which one to change. If the fuse label is wiped off, you can buy a fuse tester and test all of your fuse, then replace the bad ones. make sure you replce it with same kind, and same number. If you cant afford a fuse tester which is not more than $5.00, you can take one fuse off at a time, and see if it has a cut, if it does, then you need it replaced. that wld solve your problem, and even solve the ones you dont know of.

Not likely any reset button. If both seats have stopped working it must be some power problem I would think. There is a control unit under the seats but I think there are two, one for driver and one for passenger. Change the fuse anyway, make sure you have the right one.

Pull the plug for the heating element for the seat and with it "on" check for 12v; you have full voltage then possble bad element. You have no voltage check the wire and fuse.

Driverside seat wont move ,stuck in farthest back position

The fuses for the seat are shared with other features on the car such as power antenna. Has any other power feature gone off as well?
Check the runners the seat slides in. There might be something trapped in there blocking the running action.
There are two fuse boxes. One under the hood in the rear drivers side corner, under a black plastic cover. The other is inside the car, inside the end panel of the dash. (With the door open).
Check fuses 1 and 18 as they cover the power seat functions.

Maybe you problem is with the switch, or check if power seat circuit has the regular fuse or rather one of those thermal ones.
Passenger compartment fuse panel
The fuse panel is located on the left hand side of the instrument panel facing the drivers side door.

2ooo ford explorer driver side electric seat will not work can you please help

check owner manual for location of fuses and relay that control seat. it has 2 motors, one for the seat back & one for the sliding back & forth. If one works, suspect motor. If both don't work, suspect fuse or relay.
Also, check wires for chafing under seat, they can get cut if out of position.
report back.
