SOURCE: My passenger side windshield wiper does not work,

Sounds like you have a part of your linkage that popped off the pivot. Open the hood remove the 2 small esthetic caps on the wiper baldes. Remove the 2- 13mm nuts. Use a little wiper puller and pull the arms off the linkage. Remove the plastic tray starting by first removing the 4 screws on the passenger side to remove the pollen filter cover, then removing the outer edge pieces then slowly pulling up on the ends to disengage the tray. The tray is just pushed in, no clips or screws. You can then see the wiper linkage. Do not put your hands there while the ignition is on. I'd suggest even removing the battery terminals so the wipers don't accidently come on. Check you must have a pivot arm that came off. Check to see if it's damaged and what part you'll need. The linkage can be removed with the motor with 3 small 10mm bolts.

I have a 2001 vw jetta vr6 glx wagon with a manual 5 speed, the water pump bearing has went bad causing the belt to come apart so I need to replace the pump. What literature I have found lists a 50+ step...

The engine can be unbolted from a passenger side dog bone support and lowered enough to allow the removal of the pump because the frame blocks it in due to proximity. This is the best & correct procedure. Good Luck!

How to change air filter for 2007 volkswagen jetta ,2.5

Hi, on the VW Jetta 2006 to 2009, the cabin filter is underneath the glove box so lay down on the floor and look under to see the 2 plastic screws. Access is gained by removing two plastic screws and gently pulling down a piece of foam insulation. Once the insulation is removed you can see the filter 8 inch long by 2 inch wide black plastic face plate. You must slide the face plate toward the passenger side door.

The face plate will now come off and the filter will still be inside and you will have to pull it down. Debris will come out onto the floor mat below. Insert the new cabin filter, put the face plate back up an slide toward he drivers side to lock in place. Replace the insulation, re-screw the 2 screws, and you're back in business with fresh air and clean hands besides!

Take care

If I need to replace the blower motor for my 2001 Ford Expedition air conditioner, does the entire dash have to be removed to reach it?

If you are removing the main blower motor at the passenger side of the cabin then you don't have to remove the dash. It's behind the lower dash trim panel and takes about an hour and a half to two hours to do. Not to bad a job but you will need to be a bit flexible to see under there.
