SOURCE: reset the computer system of 2001 chevy venture

Is the check engine light on? If it is you will need a code reader to plug into the OBDII port under the dash near the steering column. But that may not keep the light off. Your vehicle’s computer system has self-testing capability. When the computer senses that there is a problem with some of the components it stores the correspondent trouble code(s) in its memory and lights up the "Check Engine" or "Service Engine Soon" light to tell you that there is a problem and your car needs to be repaired. Hope this helps.

My Chevrolet venture 2003 spare tire lowering hoist turns without lowering the spare tire even though I hammered the tire iron all the way in the tube.

Rusted. Very common. Replace the entire hoist with a new one from Dormanproducts. You'll have to cut the cable using a bolt cutter

Were is the spare tire located and how do you get it out.

I have a few years earlier Dodge Caravan. 2000 I think. The tire is under the rear cargo area and there is a big bolt under a flap of carpet inside the back cargo area which I believe you must loosen to get the tire off its bracket. Looks like lug nut size.

2007 cad SRX right rear has flat tire 255 60R17 can I use the spare tire? Is it a full size spare tire?

If the vehicle came with a spare tire then yes you can use it. As to whether or not it is a full size spare tire I wouldn't be able to answer that, as on some models a full sized spare is an option and I have no way of knowing if that option was purchased or not.

No spare tire

It should be located underneath the rear end of the vehicle. If it's not there, someone removed it. The owners manual will give you detailed instructions on how to remove your spare. Your local dealership can help you find one if yours is missing.

I cant get the spare out from underneath. there

Check your Owners Manual for the location of the Spare Tire Release. Either underneath the carpet, or behind a cover: there should be a Nut shaped Spare Tire Release that you have to turn (should be counterclockwise) which turns the cable mechanism, which will lower the spare tire. Once the cable has been fully extended, pull the spare tire out from underneath the vehicle. Move the tire slightly back "up" onto the cable and turn the "cap" so you can fit the cap back through the hole in the middle of the tire.
