Next time this happens, check out the dash and see if there is a light on somewhere that says SECURITY. When the anti theft begins to fail, it can disable your starter making the ignition seem like its doing nothing. If you see the security light when this happens then id say 100% that this your problem. Re the a/c. Get a can of red tek sealer. make sure the engine is cold or you won't get the connector on to the low side port to seal properly. Follow the insrtuctions that comes with the can. Just adding the refrigerant doesn't stop the leak

try to start the car, then leave the key in the on/run position for 11-15mins then the light should go out and the cylinder should be recoded, might have to do it twice

change the" turn signal flasher"
