hey, im a usa sailor and i have also encountered this problem. how i fixed it.....,
you may be missing a little rod that attatches the handle from the cab to the crankcase. if you have that rod then see if the holes in the levers under the truck have little rubber grommets. these are what holds the rods in place.

if missing :
the rod......contact your nearest auto parts store preferably napa or autozone usually runs about thirty bucks at most

the rubber grommets.......usually any hardware store will have these for only four bucks

02 Yukon keeps blowing a fuse even when the switch is unplugged on the 4x4

There is an actuator motor located on the transfer case. It selects range; hi neutral and lo and engages the front differential. There is a second clutch actuator motor on the front differential that engages the front wheel hubs.

You will need to disconnect both motors to eliminate electronics. It could also be you have an abraided wire to either the transfer case or the front differential. If unplugging both actuators doesnt stop fuse blow, you will need to test for signal or power to ground shorts.

When I try to start my 2002 Durango it turns over but doesnt start. It's saying "no bus" in the mileage area.

If it says NO BUS then that means the computer is not communicating with cluster module and it will not start, the first thing is to check all fuses, inside and the ones under the hood, it may just be a blown fuse. this is where i would start. then check the battery connections and the connection of the cable from battery to fuse box, make sure the cable is good and clean, this is the most common place for this problem that i have seen. the cable going to the fuse box in engine compartment is bad and thats what powers up alot of components. good day.

Where are the fuses to the radio

There are 2 fuses that control the radio. Fuse #8, 10 amp, which is located in the "Intelligent Power Module" located in the engine compartment left side. This fuse is fed off the battery and is hot all the time. This one controls the radio memory and settings.

The other is Fuse #5, 20 amp, also located in the Intelligent power module. This fuse is fed from the Ignition switch and should be hot when the key is on.

Look for a box with a plastic cover on the left side of the engine compartment. This is the "Intelligent Power Module" box
