2001 acura mdx 3.5 cylinder head removale

If the bolt broke flush, you'll need to soak it in a solution of 50% acetone and 50% auto trans fluid. Then get a left hand drill bit taht is smaller than the bolt and drill it out. The left hand bit drills in reverse of a regular bit and will drill into the remains of the bolt and back it out as well. If it broke above the surface, get a MIG welder and weld a nut onto it and remove the bolt.

My head bolt broke in the cylender block how can u help me to get it out

It all depends on how exactly your bolt was damaged.

1. Bolt head slots were cut off. In this case, you need a bolt and nut extractor. It looks like a nut socket with a special tapered spiral design.

How to use - Put the head of the appropriate size on the bolt and turn it counterclockwise.

2.The bolt head is completely broken off and part of the threaded bolt is stuck in the hole. Then you need a metal drill bit and screw extractor. In the store, you can buy a set, where there are both drills and extractors of different sizes at once.

How to use - The first drill a hole in the bolt. Then insert the extractor into the hole and turn it counterclockwise.

How to get my ignition lock out

Instructions

Test fit a drill bit in the lock cylinder. You want a bit that is just smaller than the cylinder. You will be using hardened drill bits to cut through the cylinder, since ordinary bits may be damaged by drilling metal.

Lock the drill bit into the drill chuck and tighten the chuck.

production in very fast delivery! special threading taps, plug gauge

Drill a starter groove into the lock cylinder. Start the drill on a low speed and create a groove in the end of the lock cylinder. You don't need to create a deep hole, just enough of a groove so that the drill bit will not slip on a higher speed.

Increase the drill speed to the highest setting and drill out the lock cylinder. Let the drill do the work. If you force the drill into the lock cylinder, you could burn out the rotor inside the drill motor

How do you change the 1998 audi a4 quattro cylinder head bolt. One of mine broke.

They make extractors that you could try and use to remove it you have to drill a little hole and then insert the removal tool, but they make different kinds. Worse case would be have to remove the head and hope that there is enough bolt left to get vise grips or something else clamped on tight enough to remove the bolt. Or the bolt will have to be drilled out and the hole re-tapped. This last step should not be attempted by a novice, but can be done successfully.

How do you replace the ignition cylinder on a 1997 toyota 4 runner

Here's what you need:
1) Drill
2) 5/32′ cobalt drill bit (use cobalt, it's for drilling hard metals and is necessary)
3) 10mm socket wrench
Here's what you do:
1) Remove panel underneath steering column (4 X 10mm bolts)
2) Remove plastic shield covering ignition (should just snap out)
3) On the underside of the ignition assembly, you'll see a small hole (~1/4′) about 2 inches back from where the key goes. Using the 5/32′ drill bit, drill up into the hole, trying to center the drill bit on the pin which is inside the hole. You can normally push this retaining pin in if the ignition is turned to the first position and slide the cylinder out.
4) When the pin is drilled out completely, the lock cylinder should be easy to pop out with a small flat head screwdriver pried just underneath where the key goes on the front of the ignition.
5) The new cylinder should slide right in (with the key inserted and turned to the first position - ACC)
Heres what it cost:
1) Ignition lock cylinder assembly from Toyota dealer ~ $115
2) 5/32′ cobalt drill bit ~$4

How to change the lock cylinder

After you remove the plastic surrounds, you will see the ignition and steering lock bolted around the steering column.
there are some round headed screws holding it all together, these are called tamperproof, and when installed the hex head breaks off leaving the round head you will see.
To remove them I use a small chisel or punch to unscrew them, or alternately you could drill the heads off

I have a 1999 Durango that had an exhaust leak on cylinder 8. the manifold bolts were so badly corroded, I had to cut the heads off and unscrew the studs... except for #8 cylinder... the bolts were both...

It can be a daunting task. You'll need to center punch them as deeply as possible. Use left handed cobalt bits starting with the smallest possible bit & work your way up to about 3/4 the size of the bolt & try an easy out. Don't break the easy out!! If the easy out fails, continue drilling to the proper size for a heli-coil & install one. Use anti-sieze on the new bolts. If this fails, hate to say it,remove the head & try a drill press.

How do I remove the screws from the front rotors of the xg300?

you can tap the end of the screws with a hammer and it sometimes will break free or use torch propane type to heat them up and it will do the same. You need to buy an impact screw driver to remove them most of the time cost about $10.00 plus the 3/8 drive bit you need to fit and if you end drilling out the head just be sure to drill to the outside diameter of the head once you have drilled threw it you would be able to remove the head, also if you can get to the part where the bolt is threaded into tap it with a hammer a couple of times and that may do the trick.
