Hi, have a 62 Buick skylark 2 door convertable with a paint code no# FB 4509 and unde NN1 paint company in australia cannot match this code to get me the paint required.Can you help with this please.

Well I think I know WHY nobody can match the paint. The code you have presented is the body assembly number. The 'FB' refers to the body being build in Flint Michigan, then I believe the numbers afterwards are the assembly number.

Regardless of all that, there should be a body plate about the size of a credit card (I take it this is where you came up with the number to begin with).

Just below where it says 'Body' it should say 'Paint'. Just to the right of that is the actual paint code.
