at 100k miles you are due for a set of spark plugs, transmission service differentials and transfer case if 4wd fluids changed. have you ever had coolant changed this i was due at 5 years so need that done.

Take the airbox cover off spray some starting flood into the throttle body see if it fires if it does week fuel pump

plugs are pregapped. you shouldnt have to change plug gap.

Ok,well need a little more info,but here it goes. Is there power to the pump with the key on for 5 sec. or so is all it will stay on unless cranking. Check the fuel pressure. If there's no power anywhere but the starter then it's a bad fusible link. There's basically a wire that acts like a fuse & they're bolted to the main post on the starter. There could be some in the fuse box under the hood also. If the fuse link is bad,you can either use an ohm meter of just wiggle them with the key on until something lights up, then be sure to use the proper fuse link wire not just any wire type works safely. Make sure it's roughly the same length when you splice it in,longer it is the more resistence it handles,fire hazard. The under the hood fuses are just plug in. Write back if you need more help.

Check the fuel pressure you need 13psi to 15psi, anything different you will not get a start. The other thing to that is common to fail is the Ignition Control Module (ICM), IT coast around $40,00 at Auto Zone and they can give you the step by step instruction to getting the job done with common tools. Sounds like CV joint, or wheel bearing

we had this same problem, under the car there is a modular,near the transfer case, it just unlugs and plug a new one in.20 min.. it is approx. $80.00 item,$ 350.00 to have it done. we were in yellowstone when we had this problem. hope this helps
