Hi Janieanip01,
Again we need more imfo....Is the vehicle injection?....If it is you'll have to wait until the fuel rail is re-pressurised before it will start....Crank it for about ten seconds at a time so as not to burn out the starter motor....It may be that the vehicle didn't run out of fuel but instead the pump may have given in....and when did you last replace the fuel fiter?
Regards Johngee10

Either one of your cables isn't getting a good enought contact on the battery or solenoid, or the solenoid is bad, or relay for starter is bad.

CHECK ALL OF THE HOSES, LOOK FOR ANY LEAKS OF ANTIFREEZE,CHECK THERMASAT SOMETIMES THEY CAN GET STUCK AND WON'T OPEN SO IT CLOSES UP AND DOESN'T ALLOW ANTIFREEZE TO PASS THREW THE MOTOR AND DOESN'T REACH THE TEMPERTATURE REQUIRED,TRY FLUSHING THE RADIATOR,IF NOT CHECK OUT YOUR WATERPUMP MAYBE ITS NOT WORKING,TRY GETTING FIX SOON IF IT OVERHEATS TO MUCH IT CAN BLOW YOUR HEADGASKET

Ignition lock is activated: You over rode it but still have original problem. Alarm system might be confused. SO....
1 disconnect battery negative (-) cable(make you have radio code if any) to reactivate radio, which works anyway if code was never set.
2 press brake peddle for 5 seconds
3 reconnect negative cable to battery.
use key and twist diver door lock to OPEN (this resets alarm which might have caused ignition lock module to activate.
You should be able to turn on the ignition, start the engine and shift out of park. Hope this helps.
