I have a 2005 srx Cadillac, it is sticking in park, but when it is stuck in park my heated seats will not turn on.

NEVER use heat on caliper bleeders as it can destroy the caliper piston seal .

Remove the rear lower seat. Remove bolts holding belts to floor pan of vehicle.

Could be a switch under or around the trimming of the seat. if you cant figure it out take it to the dealer they will be happy to help you.

Make sure your that the transmission is in Park "P" position in order to removed the key. I will suggest you to take your battery to your local Auto Parts to run a diagnostic to confirm that the battery will not longer hold power. If the battery is dead it means that it is time to replaced. Good Luck!

if there was a shoe stuck and you try to prees the swith more than once so it was stuck and you was trying to force it to go so that can cause a mechanical damage with the seat motor so you need to replace the motor with a new one

The pedal has a little rubber stop on it. When the pedal is all the way off push it just a little and watch the light. If it turns off the little stop is bad. It goes in a small hole where the pedal arm rests against a bracket. Also a broken switch can cause this

the 1st thing you do is check and see if the brake lights are working, the system locks in park until it senses the brake pedal is pushed, so if the brake light switch is not working then it will not come out of park position.
