SOURCE: 2005 Nissan Altima

HEY WHATS UP BRO this is what you have to do i just got brand new headlight replacements for my 05 nissan altima and it looks great by the way if you replace one you should just do both becasue it will look weird. anyways i have an hid kit as well but so. what you have to do is remove the bumper take all the plastic screw things off the top and on the botton underneith the bumber then you remove 2 screws on each side of the bumper they are located kinda in the dender well then you unscrew those then you can pretty much pull the bumper off there are 4 screws holding on each headlight 2 on top one on the side and one on the bottom front in order to remove the headlight you have to take off the bumper. hope this helps oh ya and buy buy the way you should get an hid kit the bulbe size for the altima is an h1 bulb and you need to get the single beam buld. get it at xenoneyes.com and the the 6000k. The 6000k look the best and is the brightest trust me you wont be let down they are brighter and last longer than the standard halogen bulb um also and like 5 times brighter. they are 129$ at xenoneyes.com thats the cheapest price that i have seen and they are a great value and good quality just dont touch the bulb. oh ya if you replace one headlight do both it looks much better. maybe try this web site to show you a little bit of how to do it

SOURCE: Location of oil filter on Nissan Altima 2005

The oil filter is located behind the right (passenger) inner fender cover. It is right next to the crankshaft pulley at the bottom of the front of the engine facing toward the right front wheel. I do not have a picture at this time.

Hope this is helpful!

SOURCE: How do I change brake light bulb on 2005 Nissan Altima

The first objective is to figure out which bulb you need. I had to replace the bulb for the largest light which was a Sylvania 3157. The next objective is to remove the dang plastic carpet holder/net clip. Recognize that it is a two part piece. Use a flathead screwdriver for leverage. Pry the cap off by levering the screwdriver in the slot on the holder. Then go behind the carpet and pinch the plastic pin still holding the holder in place. Next, pry off the while plastic pieces from the two bolt/nuts you'll need to remove (see manual). Remove the nuts and give the two screws a push from the inside so you can see how the whole light casing comes off. Pry it off from the outside. On the backside of the bulb holder, turn bulb base counterclockwise and gently remove. Pull bulb upward and replace. Do not touch glass on new bulb with your fingers (wear non-powdered rubber gloves). Make sure the bulb snaps in place. Follow these instructions in reverse. Smile, you just learned something new and saved yourself some easy money.

SOURCE: I have a 2005 nissan altima 2.5s no 2 coil burned

I think the problem here is that either the plug gap is too wide causing the coil to overheat by having to jump a excessive gap or its the position on the engine ,now i have to be carefull here what i answer as other experts mock me for some of my solutions like using manual cables and drilling holes in the bellhousing to lock the flywheel but providing the plug gap is 25th ,yes i know about modern engines using a wider gap but iam old school and if its too wide with these modern engines the excessive gap will cause the coil to work overtime but if the gap is right then check the coil supply voltage as if its too high on this particular cylinder for some obscure reason caused by the computer then this is out of my league and you would need the dealer plug in software to locate the problem but if its just packing up due to its location on the engine then my favourite thing and yes i do know i will be well ribbed for this and thats to leave the cover off the top of the engine for more air flow and then strap a 12v computer cooling fan to the top of the coil with a piece of thin fence wire ,plastic tie could stretch with the heat ,and wire it into the ignition on side of a fuse or the ignition switch and this should keep it cool and stop it from melting ,its a trick i do often with electronic components thats bolted to the engine and they can run hot ,like voltage regulators on motor bikes and ECU units bolted to the manifold like in the opel models and even onto the backs of alternators that are mounted by the exhaust manifold .

Which one is number one firing order 2003 Nissan Altima coil pack

You didn't mention your engine size. This vehicle does not have a coil pack on either engine. This engine uses "Coil on plug" ignition coils. I am forwarding pictures for the 2.5L i4 and 3.5L V6.

on top of the engine remove the plastic cover depending on which model you will have 1. a coil pack for all 4 cylinders so you change the whole part or maybe 2. 4 seperate coils if so no.3 is 3rd from front of engine or 3rd from drive belt end as you look under hood

Hello! There is a wiring multiple between the four coils of the Red and Black (+12 and Ground) wiring that may have opened up during the head replacement...On Coil #1...Pin #3 is a Red wire and on Pin #2 is a Black wire...It is the same on Coil #2...Using two safety pins...Push the points into the Red and Black wires...First on coil #! then #2...Set your meter to read 12 volts...Clip the (+) meter probe to the safety pin in the Red wire and (-) to the Black...Turn on the key...12 volts must be present...You can check the other two coils that are firing...More than likely those two will read OK...This is a preliminary test to insure #1 & #2 have the proper voltage...Send a comment with results and I'll take it from there...Guru...Saailer

My altima can not start

You may have a bad crank sensor, that will prevent spark if bad, or possibly a bad key security system will shut down ignition system.
