Question about Land Rover Discovery

Hi I have a land rover discovery 2 V8 2000 model it smokes blue smoke and I dont manage to get power it seems like it is miss firing. Any ideas?

Black smoke coming from the exhaust.


Black smoke is an indication of too much fuel being delivered and the engine is essentially "flloding" itself.
Most likely a mass air flow sensor or throttle body issue. Try cleaning the body first.
ps
White smoke is a head gasket
Blue smoke is piston rings.

You have the cheapest smoke issue to fix.

disconnect the thin pipe that connects to a valve which is located between the inlet and exhaust manifolds this will cure it ,promise,older motors never had this at all

Problem with my land rover discovery


its about air filter ,

open your filter air & oil both than clean your air filter than try to change your engine or transmision oils also,

black smoke indicates that your engine can't get more fresh air for serial or parellel combustions,

its easy to solve.

try itwith care.no risk is there
