Fuel pressure problem, O2 does not send info to ECM during accelaration so cant be that, catalytic converter doesn't cause check engine light to come on, try changing fuel filters
Try cleaning the inside of the throttle body with carb cleaner and a clean rag. clean the edges of the butterfly and around inside where it closes. Also has it had a tune up or is there any check engine light on?
Code P1491 is not the PVC Valve.It is the Vacuum Cut Valve Bypass Valve. Which is located above and away from the egr canister under the driver side
rear bumper it is round and have about 3 hoses connected to it. if it is
from a check engine light that says look at vacume cut valve check the
egr canisters purge valve some times they stick and throw the wrong
code
check fuel pressure. check distributor, leaks oil internally onto the signal plate, could cause rough running and stalling. check intake gasket. spray carb claener at the injectors and listen for engine noise change. if it changes, than intake gasket is gone. very common problem. has the car been tuned up??has the base idle ever been adjusted?? checked?? if so, than check items above.
