Replace north star engine belt

I found this picture, it didn't say northstar. The tensioner in picture has a half-inch cut-out. Use a 1/2 rachet or break-over in cut-out, usually the longer the handle, the better. You pull the tensioner one way or the other to get slack in the belt, then remove belt from accessory pulley.

Please help cant remove belt on waterpump never worked on north star eng. before

The best thing to do is get a Maintenance Manual (As produced by Haynes- I don't know if they do them for American Vehicles) But somebody in the US must do them. If you are going to do your own maintenance you need a reference book.
