You install the filter backwards
The PCM /ECM won't energize the fuel pump relay while cranking the the engine ,unless it get's rpm signal from the crank sensor . Is there spark at the plug wires ?
yes have spark.
Did you hook up a fuel pressure ? How did you check for fuel pressure at the injector rail ? Or just Push the schrader valve ? Did you test the electrical circuit , fuel pump relay .

Fuel pressure gauge !
had a borrowed pressure gauge it was about 5 lbs then dropped after the first few seconds. checked fuses and relays.
Try jumping the fuel pump direct ! At the relay , do you know how to do this ? If you pull out the relay and look on the bottom you will see four set's of numbers . 30 , 87 & 85 , 86 . If you take a piece of 12 gage wire and jump 30 to 87 this will send B+ voltage direct to the fuel pump . Jump 87 to 30 in the place the relay plugs into . One of these will have B+ voltage the otherr goes to the fuel pump. test for Voltage at those pins one should have 12.6 volts !
