My service ride control light was on my display and car was riding really low in the rear. figured my struts were going bad. turned out my fuse was blown for my ELC(electronic leveling control) and car was riding heavy when it blew, so it was stuck riding low in back and it almost fooled me into buying new struts($$$) Figured a fuse couldnt be the problem but checked just in case, and thats what it ended up being so that is the first thing I would check before I spent any money. lets hope your problem is this easy to fix. Good luck.

CSP, It sounds like you have a vacuum leak that is causing the IAC ( idle air control ) motor to move in and out trying to control the idle. Check all vacuum hoses on the engine for disconnect, cracked or damaged. If the hoses crack when you bend them, they need to be replaced.
Let me know what you find and we can go from there.

SOURCE: 95 cadillac eldorado engine stalls rough idle check engine light is on
My son has this same car with the same problem. So far after tune up and other process of illimination, the problem points to the catalytic converter. If it is clogged you will get this problem with the rough idle and stalling. Look under the car at night after running it and see if the catalytic glows red. If so you need a new one. Hope this helps.

struts bearings could be worn, does make a noise that comes from the front end when you hit a bump?
SOURCE: turn off air suspension on a 95 cadillac deville
On the Cadillac Devilles you may need a relay to turn that suspenison off. If you are having trouble with the air ride all together you may want to check out Strutmasters.com. They offer non air conversion kits for your vehicle at a lower cost than it would be to fix that air ride. Save yourself time, headache and money and check them out.
