What tools do I need to change my front end Unistrut on my 2002 Oldsmobile Silhouette

If you are changing out a loaded strut assembly, basic hand tools. There are two through bolts where the knuckle attach to the lower portion of the strut and there are three nuts at the top that attach the strut to the strut tower. I believe the through bolts are 17mm or 19mm and the top nuts are I believe 14mm. If you are planning on changing just the strut cartridge, you will need a strut spring compressor and an impact for the retaining nut.

Torque specs 2003 olds silhouette rocker arm 3.400

Here is a suggested updated torque spec for this engine's rocker arm bolts;
Rocker arms
Step one: Torque to 11 ft lbs then tighten an additional 90 degrees of bolt head rotation. Some guys don't fuss with the torque specs and just get them good and tight. Either way, be careful, as the heads are aluminum. You do not want to over tighten these bolts

    I have a 2001 oldsmobile silhouette and I need to change the spark plugs I see the three up front but I am not sure how to get to the three in the back?

    You'll have to rotate the engine forward.Remove the air cleaner duct and accelerator cable.Place transmission in neutral(Block rear wheels). Remove the two bolts and detach driver's side torque strut(front engine mounts) .remove one bolt from radiator side of the passenger side torque strut. Use a ratchering strap attach to radiator support and engine lifting eye,rotate engine forward. remove coil pack to ease access to spark plugs. Good luck!!

    Replacement procedures for front struts on chevy venture lx

    lift and safely support vehicle (jack stands),remove wheel and tire assemblies, remove strut to knuckle bolts (two bolts and nuts located directly above the brake rotor very tight),then under the hood you will locate the top strut mount nuts and remove them(you may need to remove wiper linkage to do this) when you are ready to remove the last nut have an assistant hold the strut so it doesn't fall take the strut to a machine shop to get the cartridge changed (most napa stores are also machine shops go to napa online to find the one near you)
    installation is the reverse of removal some cars require alignment after strut change torque specs are as follows strut to knuckle bolts 90-120 ftlbs upper mount nuts 40-60 ftlbs wheels 100 ftlbs

    Need info on replacing front strut 2003 gmc envoy

    A: Use two jack-stands under the front-frame rails, a hydraulic jack under the "bulb" in the control-arm and a third jack-stand under the "spindle extension" of the rotor. It's not necessary to remove the calipers and/or rotors. The upper strut-mounts might need to be forcibly loosened and then removed. If the old struts are worn out enough, they should just compress by themselves. The new struts should be able to be compressed by hand and then positioned in place as fast as possible, before they extend.
    For the strut-to-knuckle bolts to loosen, use a pipe extension to the fixed driver of the socket-set. To tighten these bolts, first torque them to 170 Nm and then give them an additional turn of 120 degrees. For the latter, use the pipe-extension again
