SOURCE: all comes on when key

Does the car have a factory security system? it may have a starter kill on it.
also check for voltage at the starter solenoid while someone holds the key to start position, you could have a faulty ignition switch.
the engine light stays on when the key is on until engine starts.

SOURCE: Car died while driving wont start

have a load test done on the battery as it may have a dead cell. Check that the battery posts and terminals are shiny clean and tight.

Won't start with key what could be the problems

a Chevy (got A/t trans or manual mt trans,?) sold with both new.
dead starter 101:
will not crank
so battery is good, this old never will it be.
so Jumper cable jump starts fail, ??????
its not a NOSTART, it is a NO CRANK.> the later is easy former not. easy even 50 causes of no starts.

yes the starter is GOOD is/ was good. as you proved hot wired it.
the causes are:
fuses blown or IGN fuse 50amp blown.?
Key switch bad.
starter relay bad. (the schematics online show no such thing)
that relay missing means the key switch can fail easy.
TRANNY rules.
PRNDL switch bad, , crank in Neutral now ,foot on brake..!
if M/T box, the clutch switch is bad, top of clutch pedal.
the clutch must be depressed or will never ever crank over.
but?
if shifter lever will not move, brake lamps are dead or fuse to it,.
starter motor bad,(not is it not you hot wired it and works.
Jumper cable jump cranking fails. (assumed)
the schematic on this car shows only 4 parts to fail, besides wires.
assumes battery good, or jump started cables fails.
fuse blown.
keyswitch bad (easy due to no starter relay)_
PRNDL or clutch switch bad.
starter.bad no it is not. and engine not seized no it is not.
I use volt meter to find the point of failure and never not found it.
wires bad.
sure!
2 battery cables. ,4 ends not loose or rusty.
or
some one put alarm on car and hacked cars wiring under dash and to the starter, or worse , hacks have no end,. and only tech that sees those hacks knows what to do, he removes the hack and puts the cars wiring back to OEM factory stock condition.
or worse, remote starter kits hacked in.
use a voltmeter and the schematic and find it.

1997 buick park ave.wont turn over. battery ran down, tried to jump start it,Got the same results, key turns, everything lites up,the panel info reading 12.9 volts,It doesnt even click.

Try an put the gear selector in neutral , could be a park neutral safety switch problem . If that doesn't do it ,maybe the starter relay .Do you know how to test electrical circuits with a voltmeter ? Voltage drop test the starter main battery cable .

I have no power at all after replacing starter motor and starter relay

Have you checked voltage and ground, anywhere? Make sure battery has a full charge and connections all good, check fusible links where applicable. Not only check applicable fuses, check fuse circuit for voltage, use a test lite.
Usually two voltage circuits at the starter motor, one comes from the battery, hot all the time. The other goes hot with key in the crank position, and may be wired through a relay and safety switch, depending on the tranny. The starter motor usually grounds through the engine block.
Any testing at the starter motor, make sure tranny is in park or neutral and parking brake is set.
I don't know your year--make--model?

No power to dash or crank

It's pos to be an ign switch but before throwing a lot of expensive parts at it before ya fix it I would check All the fuses & relays first, & they're a lot of them an Caddys. Under hood, under dash, under rear seat, if battery is under seat a lot of fuses & relays are there too, (but probably not for these issues). Check anything labeled IGN or ignition switch, or for any system that isn't working, dash/cluster, starter. If the fuses & relays are good then get a test light & start checking from there.

Car died while running and wont start or even turn over. Could the relay switch be bad?

Check ALL FUSES!!!!!!!! Believe it or not I workd on a Buick Century mid 90's model and a fuse marked for injectors was bad and car would not turn over from ign switch. This also caused a no charging problem at the same time cause ign switch sent no signal to alternator to charge.

Triton 2000 2.4 . Is there any type of relay from the ign switch. All of a sudden nothing from ign key. power ok. when turn ign on to start nothing except fast clicking from under dash.

battery starter or selenoid on starter...sounds like weak battery tho...be sure to eliminate by trying to boost tapping on starter while attempting to start may also work as they get stuck up sometimes.hope this helps.

Car wont but changed alternator

check power to alt first , alt has one big red wire that bolts to back of alt that should be hot all the time. if it is not hot with fire check fuseable link that is in wire bolted to the starter. also has two smaller wires that plug in alt. one goes to charge lite or bat guage in dash, other wire goes to ign and should be hot when ign is on if it is not change ign switch

1994 buick park ave, wont crank over,

Pass key is the security system which disables the car if it is stolen. You need the remote or a key with a chip to start the car. go to a dealer, prove ownership with registration and they will be able to help you out
