Where is the blend door actuator on the 2001 lincoln ls v6

Heater core duct door is stuck open, actuator is faulty....under dash, closest too the firewall.......

Lincoln LS has no blend door. You repair the DCCV down near the bottom of radiator. don-ohio

Heater blend door actuator is behind the dash assembly.

It sounds like the heater control head or the blend door actuator.

remove the glove box and its lining and and the under dash covering on pass side to expose the actuator for the blend door

Have it checked for a broken blend door actuator shaft.

Blowing hot air when set to A/C is almost always a stuck blend door, dead blend door actuator, or a cracked or disconnected blend door actuator vacuum line. The blend door is inside the a/c ducting under the dash, but the actuator will be accessible outside the ducting.

The actuator is on top of the heater box behind the glovebox area

THEY HAVE A BIG PROBLEM WITH WHAT THE CALL A BLEND DOOR ACTUATOR MOTOR ASSY... THIS IS AN ELECTRIC MOTOR ASSY THAT MOVES A BLEND DOOR IN DIFFERENT DIRECTIONS TO DIVERT AIR THROUGH HEATER CORE OR THROUGH AC CORE.. THIS IS VERY HARD TO REPLACE BECAUSE IT IS BEHIND THE DASH NEAR FIRE WALL... THE BOOK CALLS FOR 6 HOURS LABOR TO REPLACE... HAVE TO PULL COMPLETE DASH OUT
