Where is the fuse for 2011 QX56 power liftgate?

Power Liftgate System Description
Liftgate Module
The liftgate module controls the liftgate motor, liftgate clutch, and liftgate latch based on various inputs. The liftgate module also performs diagnostics on these inputs and outputs and will disable liftgate functionality and set DTCs should a fault be detected. The liftgate module is secured to the motor assembly at the left rear of the vehicle. The module requires a liftgate position learn procedure be performed when replacing. This allows the module to learn the full open and full closed positions of the liftgate.

Location - fuse block right rear
Fuse Block - Right Rear
In the passenger compartment, near the right side of the rear seat cushion under the carpet

Door ajar switch possibly . The lift gate not working is a different matter . Could be any number of thing's .

Your best bet take it to a qualified repair shop that has the diagnostic tool that can communicate with the lift gate control module , too check for DTC'S - diagnostic trouble code's .

This is not a job for a diy'er or vehicle owner .

No B+ power to what ? rear liftgate ? No fuse box back in that area . Power for liftgate comes from liftgate PCB relay inside the I/P - instrument panel fuse box . PCB - printed circuit board relay . Non serviceable . The BCM - body control module energizes the relay .

The only thing I can say first is have you got power still going to the switch , just in case you might have a broken wire you can't see so use a multimetre or get a auto electrician to do it for you colin e

Have you checked the fuse? If so, the module is located behind the left rear trim panel. Remove the panel to access. Below is a diagram of the trim panel and location of the module in BLUE>
Preliminary Procedures

1. Move the rear seat to the full forward position.
2. Remove the rear number?2 seat . Refer to 3rd Row Seat Removal and Installation.
3. Remove the rear quarter upper trim panel. Refer to Quarter Upper Trim Panel Replacement.
4. Disconnect the liftgate actuator rod from the liftgate. Refer to Liftgate Actuator Rod Replacement.
5. Disconnect the rear seat number 2 shoulder belt anchor bolt. Refer to Rear Seat Number 2 Retractor Side Belt Replacement.
6. Remove the liftgate door sill plate. Refer to Liftgate Door Sill Plate Replacement.

I HAVE A 2005 INFINITI QX56, my cruise has stopped working, does anyone know what the cruise box looks like and where its located? I cant get any dealership to tell me or show me. Thanks

remove the interior headliner an unbolt it...but u will have holes in the room if u do

POWER LIFT-GATE OPERATION - To open the optional power liftgate, push the button on the instrument panel , press on your five-button key fob (if equipped), or press and release the control located in the left rear quarter panel (Figure B). To unlatch the liftgate glass, push the button ) under the center of the license plate lamp shield, or press on your five-button key fob. Do not open the liftgate or the liftgate glass in a garage or other enclosed area with a low ceiling. Keep clear of the liftgate when operating the rear switch. To open the liftgate manually, pull the handle located on the liftgate to release the liftgate from the vehicle. The power system will take over when you release the handle. To close, make certain the rear window is closed, and then pull down the liftgate a few inches to activate power closing. The answer for fuse should be printed in raised letters on inside of fuse box lid, and in you cars manual.
