If it just clicks when trying to start then its the batt even though it turns everything on may be to weak to start your car, if it cranks but won't turn over could be a number of things . Check all fuses that the car has, check to see of your fuel pump is kicking on have a friend listen by the gas tank for a buzzing or whining noise as you turn the car to on. My car crank but no start was the pcm fuse.. Could be the fuel pump fuse like I said check everything you can. If the car is just clicking try hooking up for a jump start but make sure you take all safety steps first.. Good luck.. .
if the car will jump off doesn't matter what AAA said battery is bad, either terminals are excessively corroded, or battery has a dead cell internally, remove battery and take to a reputable auto parts store or repair shop and have tested, also have load tested it is bad.
Try first jump starting the car with another idling car. If the car starts up it could be the battery. Have the jumper cable and negative cable of the battery removed and see if the engine dies. If it does then it may be weakened alternator causing the battery to weaken.
If the car does not start check if the wires are secured. Check for blown fuses. Starter relay may be bad. You may connect the battery directly to the starter and see if the car starts. If it starts it may be a bad relay or fuse or even the wiring to the starter may be bad.
I am the type that likes to jump start a car to troubleshoot it. If you jump start the car and it starts that tells you that the starter and engine is good and the problem is in your battery or alternator. If it doesn't start then I take the serpentine belt off and try to turn the engine with a large wrench. If it rotates, then I replace the starter and starter solenoid.
check it out with a multimeter ,but i think your jump leads may not be any good and you have just flattened the battery ,but check the big fuses in the power distribution box under the bonnet
check for corrosion at the terminals of the battery and also the starter, if thats clean ,, your starter may be stuck, if you remove the starter you can bench check it by attaching a jumper cable (positive side) to the post for the starter, and tapping the negative side of the Jumper to the case of the starter,, it should Jump into position, Prior to doing that check,, look for any blown fuses, but if its clicking,, Its trying so I doubt its a fuse issue
Check the starter and the starter relay or fuse. A client of mines car was doing the same thing, it ended up being two issues, the starter not working anymore, and a relay that was bad. If I am not mistaken everything should be labeled in the fuse box under the hood and will tell you where the fuse/ relay is for your vehicle
