I just bought a 2001 mazda tribute and there is a orange light showing in dash board,it looks like the white house.What is that mean?thanks.

WIRE COLOR CODES:

+12V Constant = Orange/Green

+12V Accessory Switched = Yellow/Black

-12V Chassis Ground = Black/Green +12V Illumination = NULL

+12V Dimmer = NULL

Power Antenna = NULL

Amp Remote = Orange/Blue

LF+ = Orange/Green

LF- = White/Blue

RF+ = White/Green

RF- = Green/Orange

LR+ = Tan/Yellow

LR- = Grey/Blue

RR+ = Orange/Red

RR-= Grey/Pink

Hello Jason, I would say it does not have enough oil pressure or maybe the oil sender unit is bad. Did you check the oil level?

Double check fuses - replace tail light fuse even if it looks good. If that doesn't fix it, then you have bad headlamp switch (headlamp switch also feeds tail & dash lights)

I think the warning light is meant to be in the shape of a radiator - check your coolant level - it generally means your coolant is low. The coolant level sensor often fails on Mazda's however, so your 'problem' might actually be a dodgy sensor not a lack of coolant at all.

I would assume that it has to do with your 4 wheel drive system

could you post a picture?

If its on the left side of the instruments and looks like it is a house with a chimney in the center its the low coolant light.
