How do i fix my interior fan and auxiliary feature for the cd player in my 2006 BMW 120i?

replace the cd player. The interior fan is controlled by a final resistor pack under the dash somewhere that usually goes bad. If it's similar to the 528 series it's under the center console. Notorious for shorting causing a drain on the battery and just going bad which leads to not enabling the various speeds of the fan to go.

Where do I look - other than the fuse box - to fix power problems with the DVD, left front window and front interior lights?

if the fuse 's are intact then it must be a wiring fault , unless experienced in tracing this type of fault save you time and money getting an auoto electrician to check it through

Car radio, power locks, interior lights do not work. Headlights will only come on if car is started. Everything worked fine until aftermarket cd player installation was attempted. RCA jack looking thing...

You folks never learn, you can't use just any aftermarket sound system in these newer vehicles. The electronics are all networked together. I have no idea what you have damaged.

Interior light and radio not working

It's not a fuse, It is the internal wiring, the wiring from your dome light to your wiring harness is bad.. have you recently put in an aftermarket CD player?

Cd player and clock not working in 53plate clio

most of the time there is another fuse that shares another function such as the clock light so you cant see it, it might be on but not light up to see it, go through all the fuses and check if anything else is not working ie interior light etc. if all fails check the bulb in clock then get a multi meter to check for a power supply to the clock. im sure another fuse some where

No headlights, no interior light, and no power to the stereo.

1st check inside and under hood fuse boxes for bad fuses, smell boxes, if wiring went bad should smell baked wire smell around boxes. you can run wires direct from lights to battery or through $5 switch installed into your dash (autozone etc) to fix cheaply
