Do NOT go to a dealer to be ripped off. A specialist Land Rover shop will do this job for around $1000 and save you a lot of angst

Bad air bags with holes for the air to escape.

You can get a spring kit to replace the air bags. It sounds like you have a leak in the system somewhere and the pump can't keep up with it.

Replacing the air bags is only cheaper if that is the only problem with the vehicle (which it hardly ever is). The air bags or other parts will act like a house of cards and over work your compressor and other components within the air ride system. Converting over to coil springs is definately the way to go.. eventhough I hardly ever recommend finding safety and suspension parts at a junk yard.
