The only reset is to lock the driver's door and then unlock it with the key, if that doesn't do the trick you have a failed part or wiring issue. The system will then need to be scanned with a TECH2 GM scanner or its equivalent to find the area or part that is casing the problem..
If the car is failing as described it should be throwing fault codes. You need to have a proper fault diagnosis carried out with the correct equipment so you may need to go to a GM dealer. Once the codes are thrown up on the scanner the cause can be diagnosed and the fault rectified.
Without physically checking your car it is impossible for someone here to diagnose the cause because there are multiple issues that could be causing the problem you have.
Also check with GM if your car has been subject to recall for faulty ignition switches. The affected models and years are published on line so you should be able to check yourself.
The radio most likely went into lock mode as this happens when there is a power interuption as when battery goes dead. Have your dealer unlock radio as they may have to hook up to computer or give you unlock code as I donot know which model of radio you have.
