Could be a long list of things, including low fuel pressure, throttle position sensor, EGR valve, dirty air filter, and so on. Is the check engine light on ? Does it feel like it is lacking fuel, or air ? Is it not downshifting when it should ?
An EGR valve assembly located at the front of the intake manifold.
The EGR valve is a poppet style valve (on/off only) and is controlled
by an internal diaphragm.
Fig. EGR location and associated components-California diesel
it should be behind intake just above the bellhousing, hard to reach, easiest from the bottom, if not there follow tubes from exaust manifold they connect to egr valve
Under hood, center, rear engine area, mounted on rear passenger side of engine im guessing i would need to know what engine?this is based v8 5,2 2 wheel drive
seems they should have been able to tell you at dodge by vin when you called.
the egr valve is mounted at rear of intake.Do you know what one looks like? you will have to look back there and see if it has one would be directly behind throttle body
