SOURCE: Need to know oil type

10W30 will be fine for a car with under 100 K miles. I usually go up to 10W40 when driving in very hot temps or when my moter is getting a bit more worn. It takes 5 Qts. with a filter change. 4 Qts without.

There is some wiring help here, but really you need a repair manual or an auto-electrician with access to Alldata and the knowledge.

1992 Oldsmobile Ninety-Eight.

Given the car is 22 years old I will only guess

That is what we do here

I would say maybe the switch for the high beams is worn out

I guess that is on the steering column on the left side?

My 1992 Ninety Eight Regency Oldsmobile was running fine. I parked the car and when I came back to start it 30 minutes later, it wouldn't start. I had to have the car towed. It is in the second garage now...

It is possible the timing chain could have jumped or stripped a gear.Have them to check compression.Could also have them check the cam and crank sensors.Let me know what they find.Good luck.

1991 Oldsmobile Ninety Eight Regency I can't determine how mice are getting into the car. They are inside the car; I.E. under the seats,in the glovebox, in the trunk, etc. I put a screen over the air...

Get some dryer sheets and moth balls and put them all over where the mice are. They will leave. They don`t like the smell.I can`t tell you where they are getting in because I don`t know but you will have to look around the vehicle and see if you can find a hole.It does not take a very gig hole either.Hope this helps.Good luck.
